What U.S. state do I belong in?

I recently took the quiz "What U.S. state do you belong in?" and my result was South Dakota! Wow! Funny how I belong in one of the states my family comes from... the other being Minnesota, right next door. The description does fit me well, which wasn't what I expected. Unfortunately, it's not where I reside.

It reads...

You prefer pine trees to palm trees, rivers to oceans, and mountains to skyscrapers. You pride yourself on your independence and open-minded attitude. You consider yourself extremely self-sufficient, but you have an extremely close-knit group of friends and family that you would do anything for. Everyone that knows you adores you and you have absolutely no enemies. You don't envy those with money, nice cars, or huge mansions, because you know that "the finer things" in life aren't material. You are extremely well-educated and will most definitely end up in a career that will make a difference in the world. Although you know you don't need to be in a relationship to be happy, you will be completely and entirely lovestruck by someone that is enamored by your inner beauty. .

Texas
Stereotypical to that of a true Texan, you like everything big! You like your steak big, your parties big, your cars big, your houses big, but most importantly.. you love big! When you devote yourself to something, be it a career, a sport, a goal, a challenge, an obstacle, or a person, you give it 110% every time. And although you have a big ego, you do have your reasons. You are hard-headed and stubborn, but you can back up your point to the death and always end up getting your way. You spend countless hours on keeping in shape and expect those close to you to stay just as healthy. Finding love won't be easy for someone with such high standards, but when you find that special someone that completely throws you for a loop and really gives you a run for your money, you will undoubtedly accept the challenge. And in the end, that special someone that can really keep you on your toes will totally be worth it.
